Beginning in the 1930s, TJ Ripkoff founded the firm which now bears his name... Starting in a small office in the Financial District of a major metropolitan city, he stepped on the backs of the bankrupt and hopeless, and did deals with the best of them. Buying low and occasionally selling high, he eventually turned Ripkoff Investment Partners into what it is now. Even now many of those early Ripkoff buys remain high performers with dividends many times exceeding the initial investment.
